Only by stepping outside before the sunrise
to bid farewell to my lover departing for an early meeting
do I see the beauty of the dawn and its magnificence.

Do you have a favorite place? A place that you can’t seem to get enough photos?
Here is one of mine. It’s a place in the country near Lincoln, Illinois. You can be sipping on a glass of wine or a beer and watch the sun set. In the morning, with a cup of coffee in hand, the sun rises.

I have posted many sunrise photographs from my home, all of them captured from my porch or patio attempting to include something different in the foreground with an impressive sunrise. I’ve never posted a sunrise photo from within the house. Until this morning. And actually, to be technical, this is the dawn—that time before the sun rises.
