New Header Photo

From time to time, I like to change the header photo. It is one of the ways to keep the web site fresh, and it shows that I am actually paying attention to it.

This is the full photo. The header image is cropped to fit a specific size space. The photo was captured at the Horizons Unlimited Virginia event–a gathering of adventure motorcycle travelers. I use this dock and another one to teach “Fly Fishing for the Motorcycle Traveler.”

See you on the highway.

Bonneyville Mill, Bristol, Indiana

Whenever I travel to northern Indiana, I like to visit Bonneyville Mill. It’s a step back in time. Also … the Indiana DNR stocks that stream with rainbow trout. It can get very busy on opening day.

The Elkhart Train Station

On a recent visit to Elkhart, Indiana, I wandered around with my camera. Found my way to the train station where I boarded many an Amtrak to Washington, D.C.—the Capital Limited line.
